Message From the Chair
The Transportation and Transportation Security Law (TTSL) Section is committed to promoting high standards in the practice of transportation law and enhancing the professional growth and development of members of the transportation bar. The Section supports fostering community among attorneys in both the public and private sectors. The work of this Section is to cultivate connections with members who practice before the U.S. Departments of Transportation and Homeland Security and their various modal administrations, as well as the Surface Transportation Board and other transportation-related agencies.
TTSL stays connected and informed through annual events, including the Transportation Security Law Forum. In addition, TTSL hosts educational programs throughout the year covering topics of significance to the federal transportation bar. The Section hosts a Lawyers of the Year event that recognizes the achievement of esteemed colleagues in this field and is a great opportunity to meet the diverse membership of this Section.
If you would like to become more involved, please join the TTSL leadership team and help collaborate with other practitioners to bring cutting-edge programming to life. Also, think about working with a colleague to publish an article in TTSL’s Transportation Law newsletter. The Section discusses current topics through programs, panel discussions, and monthly meetings. I know this year will succeed thanks to the active participation of its members.
