Daniel C. Hedlund has been a Federal Bar Association member since 1998. Daniel has been active in the Minnesota Chapter of the Federal Bar Association, recently serving as co-vice president for the monthly luncheon meetings (2011-2012). He previously served as liaison between the FBA Minnesota Chapter and the Minnesota State Bar Association (2010-2011) and as chapter secretary (2009-2010). In addition, he was recently appointed to be secretary and treasurer of the Antitrust Section of the Minnesota State Bar Association and previously served as secretary for the Consumer Litigation Section of the Minnesota State Bar Association. He is also president-elect of the Committee to Support Antitrust Laws (COSAL).

In addition to presenting at CLEs and seminars, he has testified before the Minnesota legislature on competition law on behalf of the American Antitrust Institute. Daniel has practiced in the areas of antitrust, securities fraud, and consumer protection since 1997. He is a member of Gustafson Gluek PLLC. He is a graduate of Carleton College (B.A. 1989) and is a cum laude graduate of the University of Minnesota Law School (J.D. 1995). He was a note and comment editor and member of the Minnesota Journal of Global Trade from 1993-1995 and a recipient of the Federal Bar Association’s John T. Stewart, Jr. Memorial Fund Writing Award (1994). He served as a law clerk for the Minnesota Court of Appeals and for the Minnesota State District Court.
